Publisher and Vendor Offers

Overdrive - Overdrive (Libby) is offering free unlimited use for 3,800 eBooks from Duke Classics. They have just been added to our collection so they are currently on the front page of the Overdrive menu. 

Kanopy is offering free access to about 300 films (list of title below) and any of the Great Courses they have in their catalog. Because we are subscribers of Kanopy, you still have access to all the films in their catalog and they are reducing the cost per title. 

Ebooks and ejournals

Annual Reviews is offering access to all their journals until April 30, 2020.

Brill's COVID-19 Collection is freely available online.

Cengage is offering access to 14,000 ebooks through Cengage Unlimited. 

Ebsco is offering free access to their Faculty Select database.

Elsevier Textbooks will be freely available on multiple platforms, including VitalSource.

JSTOR is offering free access to several public health journals through June 30, 2020.

The National Emergency Library by the Internet Archive, is offering immediate access to 1.4 million works in its lending library.

The Ohio State University Press is offering access to its scholarly books (humanities and social sciences) and Language Files linguistic textbook series.

Pearson is offering some of their textbooks free through Redshelf or Vitalsource.

Public Books is providing a list of current freely available ebook offers.

Several of Project Muse's partners are temporarily making their content in Project Muse freely available.

ProQuest Ebook Central customers impacted by COVID-19 will get unlimited access to all owned titles from 50 publishers through mid-June. 

The American Psychological Association (APA) is providing free access to 160 books it publishes, including the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th & 7th eds.) through Vitalsource and Redshelf

Taylor & Francis is offering access to ebooks and etextbooks through Vitalsource and Redshelf.

The University of Michigan press is offering free access to its scholarly ebooks through April 30, 2020.

Wiley is offering access to a variety of their online learing platforms, including WileyPLUS, Knewton Alta, (contact here) or zyBooks (contact here). Instructors previously using these options should contact Wiley for additional services.

JoVE Science Education is offering free access to their science education videos until June 15, 2020.
