Learning Express Library : Getting Started

Learn about creating an account and some information on what test preparation is available there.

How to Create an Account

Students Not Yet Enrolled:

If you want to use Learning Express Library for placement test preparation and are not yet enrolled at SCC, you can still create an account in LEL.

  • Come to Schnare Library on the SCC Campus and use the public computers to register for an account (or any computer on campus).
  • If you have a St. Charles City-County library card, you can go to any branch or use their website to access LEL and set up an account.
  • Either way, the librarians can help by contacting us in person or through our chat service.
  • Once you have created your account, you can go directly to the LEL website and log in anytime to access your practice tests and other LEL content, such as ebooks and tutorials.  https://www.learningexpresshub.com/

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I have to register?

Learning Express is a personal interactive resource. Once you set up an account, you can track your progress and scores on practice tests and receive personalized assessments. All this is saved in your private My Center page, which is only available to you.

Can I register at home?

Yes, if you are currently enrolled. You must first access the Learning Express database using your campus login credentials. Once you are logged in, create a personal Learning Express account using an email address and a password.

Do I have to give my ID number and a course?

No. These are listed on the "create an account" page, but you can leave those boxes blank. SCC does not match Learning Express accounts to courses.
