The library computers are open to the SCC community and visitors. Students and employees must login using the campus email and password. Visitors can be logged in by the librarians. Because the primary purpose of the library is to serve students, availability of computers for visitors will be subject to student demand and use. Unaccompanied minors will not be allowed to use the computers.
All desktop computers are equipped with Microsoft Office.
The library offers black-and-white AND COLOR printing!
Currently enrolled students receive a $10.00 print credit at the beginning of every semester. Funds are automatically added to your account.
To print in black-and-white it costs 10 cents a page to print singe-sided and 15 cents for a double-sided page.
To print in color it costs 30 cents a page to print single-sided and 45 cents for a double-sided page.
Library computers default to double-sided printing, but this can easily be changed when you go to print. If you're not sure how to change this setting come see a librarian at the Reference Desk.
Wireless printing is available on campus. You have the option to print from your home computer, laptop, phone or other devices.
The library loans laptops to current SCC students. They are to be used only in the library. The checkout period is two hours with renewal if available upon request.
Some of our laptops are equipped with cameras so if you are needing that feature, make sure to mention it at checkout.
The library has a scanner that is free to use. You are able to scan your documents and save them to your photos. From there, you can email them or print your scanned document.

Black and White photocopying is available on the first floor of the SCC Library. Photocopies are 15 cents for single-sided and 30 cents for double-sided. Cash Only.
