Print on Demand

How Does Print on Demand Work?

If the OER you need does not have a print copy in the Campus Bookstore, here are several of the established printing companies, which provide affordable and fairly quick print-on-demand service:

1.Lulu.com - Print and Publish your own books.

A self-publishing site that also allows one to print books at low cost, after creating a FREE account. Production takes 3-5 days after an order has been placed in addition to the selected shipping option.

 2. PrintMe1:

Print, bind, and ship in one easy upload. FREE US shipping. No account is needed. Estimate calculation is available.

PrintMe1: PDF Portal for instructors using OER: PDF Hosting
"Providing a simple print option for PDF’s distributed to your user base, class or group! Hosting your PDF on printMe1.com creates a quick and easy print on demand option from a link so your users can order their prints without uploading the PDF. Just post or email the link!"

3. If the E-textbooks are published by OpenStax, you can also purchase them from Amazon - OpenStax page.

4. LibreTexts - Print on Demand service:
LibreTexts offers print on demand option for their textbooks with Lulu xPress.
