Open Pedagogy

Definition: "Open Pedagogy is a student-centered approach to teaching and learning that emphasizes learner agency, collaboration, and the use of Open Educational Resources (OER). It moves beyond traditional models of education—particularly the “banking model,” where students passively receive information—and instead positions students as active participants in the learning process." (Source: LibreTexts - Forge, Blog post).

In short - "Open Pedagogy is the collaborative authoring of OER material between faculty and students." (D. Larsen, LibreTexts)
