The library provides access to millions of resources (print and online) that can be easily added to your course.
Because the library pays for access, students have to login to get off campus access. How they login depends on the resource (video, article, etc.) and the vendor (i.e. video, article EBSCO, Gale, etc.).
If you would like to scan a print resource and make it available to your students, you must place that copy in your Canvas course and follow copyright guidelines.
A great option for linking to articles is to use the "SCC Library Sources" in Canvas. This will eliminate the need for students login a second time to access library resources. Watch this video for more information on adding library resources to your Canvas course.
Please contact a librarian if you need assistance locating or linking to any of our online resources or if you need information on copyright guidelines for print material.
If you are interested in streaming a video that would be considered a major motion picture, contact your liaison to purchase access through Swank for a year's subscription.
